Kaiserworth, a historic guild house located in the marketplace of Goslar, Germany, was built in 1494 on the foundations of an earlier structure from 1274. It served as the meeting place for the "Worthgilde," the city's most important merchant guild. Notable for its impressive late Gothic architecture, the building features six arcades and rich facade decorations, including statues of Abundantia and Hercules. The site has been a hotel since 1831, though it closed in late 2022. In 1992, Kaiserworth was included in the UNESCO World Heritage designation for the town. Visitors can admire its intricate sculptures and historical significance, but should note that it is currently closed for business.
