Oleviste Kirik, or St. Olaf's Church, is a historic church located in Tallinn's Old Town at Lai 50. Named after the Norwegian King Olav II Haraldsson, it was first mentioned in 1267. This church is notable for being the tallest in the Baltic states, reaching 123.7 meters. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view from the observation platform located 60 meters high. The church features a beautiful altar crafted by Friedrich von Maydell and Johann Exner in 1835 and houses significant chapels, including the St. Mary Chapel. Oleviste Kirik has undergone various restorations, the latest commencing in 2002. The church is accessible to visitors, with no admission fee. It is open from April to November, making it a must-visit for history and architecture enthusiasts.
