Polonezköy Tabiat Parkı, originally founded as Adampol in 1842 by Polish settlers, is a historic village and protected nature park on Istanbul’s Anatolian side. It combines mixed broadleaf woodland, meadows and restored wooden villas that reflect the community’s 19th‑century Polish heritage. The site is culturally significant as a long‑standing Polish enclave in Turkey, with vernacular architecture, a small local museum and seasonal cultural events that highlight Polish–Turkish links. Key attractions include forested hiking trails, picnic clearings, viewpoints, birdwatching opportunities, traditional wooden houses and a historic cemetery. The park is generally open to visitors during daylight hours year‑round; modest entrance fees or facility charges may apply. Visitor facilities include basic picnic and restroom areas and some paved sections that aid access, while many trails remain natural and can be uneven, limiting full wheelchair access.
