Chiesa di Santa Caterina, located in Tropea, was built after the 1783 earthquake on the site of the former S. Domenico church. Designed by architects Ermenegildo Sintes and his son Gaspare, with contributions from Bernardo Morena, the church features a covered hall and a lowered vault. The interior showcases works by Menzele and Grimaldi, as well as a sepulchral monument by Domenico Tocco, and a wooden statue of the Virgin on the main altar. Though adapted during the liturgical reforms of 1970, the original architectural elements remain prominent.
