The Kartlis Deda, or Mother of Georgia, is a monumental statue located on Sololaki Hill in Tbilisi, Georgia. Erected in 1958 to celebrate the city's 1500th anniversary, the statue stands 20 meters tall and symbolizes the Georgian spirit, holding a bowl of wine for friends and a sword for foes. Designed by sculptor Elguja Amashukeli, the monument is a key cultural symbol and offers panoramic views of Tbilisi. Visitors can access it year-round, and there are no admission fees.
