The Belfort of Brugge, also known as the Halletoren, is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the heart of Brugge. Standing at 83 meters tall, it offers stunning views of the city after climbing 366 steps. Built in the 13th century, it served as both a watchtower and a symbol of civic pride, housing city archives and a treasury. Key attractions include the impressive carillon with 47 bells and the historic halls below. Open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, admission is 12 EUR for adults, with discounts for students and seniors. The site is accessible for visitors with reduced mobility, although some areas may have limited access due to stairs.
