The Vilnius Evangelical Lutheran Church is the only Lutheran church in Vilnius, Lithuania. Established in the late 16th century, it has a rich history marked by several restorations due to fires and wars. The church features baroque architecture and was significantly restored between 1739 and 1744 by architect Jonas Kristupas Glaubicas. Visitors can admire its beautiful architecture and the impressive bell tower built in 1871. The church was returned to the Lutheran community after Lithuania regained independence and was restored again in 1995. It serves not only as a place of worship but also as a cultural landmark, making it a must-see for tourists. Admission is usually free, but check for visiting hours and possible guided tours.
