Wrangelska palatset, located at Birger Jarls torg 16 in Stockholm, is a historic palace dating back to the 1530s, originally built as a fortress. It was transformed into a private palace by architect Nicodemus Tessin d.ä. for Field Marshal Carl Gustaf Wrangel between 1652 and 1670. The palace served as a royal residence until the completion of Stockholm Palace in 1754. Today, it houses the Svea Court of Appeal. Visitors can admire its 17th-century architecture, featuring restored facades and a beautiful entrance hall. While the palace is not typically open for public tours, it is a significant landmark in Stockholm’s history and architecture. Accessibility is supported with adaptations made during recent renovations.
