Pałac Staszica is an iconic neoclassical palace located at the intersection of Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat in Warsaw. Built between 1820 and 1823, it was designed by architect Antonio Corazzi for the Royal Society of Friends of Science. The palace has a rich history, having served various educational and cultural institutions, including the Polish Academy of Sciences. It was significantly damaged during World War II but was rebuilt from 1947 to 1950. Today, it houses several scientific institutes and serves as the headquarters of the Warsaw Scientific Society.
