Castillo de Viñuelas is a fortified palace located in the Madrid municipality, within the Soto de Viñuelas area, integrated into the regional park of the Upper Manzanares Basin. First referenced in 1285, the current construction dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries. It features four cylindrical corner towers and a richly decorated façade. The castle served as the provisional residence of Francisco Franco following the Spanish Civil War in 1939. Today, it is privately owned and has been adapted for events and conventions. Visitors can admire the architecture and the scenic surroundings, making it a notable site for history and culture enthusiasts.
