Lumír and Píseň is an outdoor sculpture created by Josef Václav Myslbek between 1889 and 1897, originally situated at Palacký Bridge. It was damaged during American bombing in February 1945 and was relocated to the Vyšehradské sady in Prague in 1948 during bridge reconstruction. The sculpture depicts the legendary bard Lumír and symbolizes national conscience, rooted in Czech folklore. A bronze model of this statue can be found in the old town hall. This artistic landmark presents a significant piece of cultural heritage, offering insight into Czech history and artistry.
