Broken Chair is a monumental wooden sculpture located in Geneva, standing 12 meters high and weighing 5.5 tons. Designed by Swiss artist Daniel Berset, it symbolizes opposition to land mines and cluster bombs, serving as a poignant reminder for diplomats and politicians visiting the United Nations Office at Geneva. Originally installed in 1997, the sculpture was temporarily removed for renovations but was reinstalled in 2007.
