Kasteel Ten Berge, located in Koolkerke, part of Brugge, is a historic castle first mentioned in 1267. It has a rich history, previously owned by notable families such as Walhier and Van Rooden. The castle was burned down in 1490 during the Flemish Revolt but was rebuilt in neo-Gothic style in 1877 by architect Joseph Schadde. Now functioning as a bed & breakfast, it is set in an English landscape-style park featuring an ice cellar and a small gazebo, making it an ideal venue for events. Visitors can explore its beautiful grounds, but note that it operates in a private domain. Opening hours and admission fees vary, so check in advance. Accessibility options are available for those with mobility concerns.
