Located beside Düsseldorf’s Königsallee and adjoining the Hofgarten, Kö-Bogen is a contemporary urban redevelopment project designed by Daniel Libeskind and completed in the early 2010s. It replaced postwar buildings with a sequence of curved façades, landscaped terraces and a mix of retail, office and leisure spaces that reconnect the historic boulevard with the city park. The complex is notable for its integration of green roofs and public promenades, contemporary façade geometry, and occasional public art, making it a prominent example of 21st‑century urban design in Düsseldorf. Key attractions include its striking architecture, shopping arcades, cafés and elevated green spaces with views toward the Hofgarten and the Königsallee canal. Many outdoor areas are publicly accessible and the site was designed with step‑free circulation and facilities to improve accessibility.
