The Antigua Catedral de Santa María de Segovia, once a Romanesque cathedral, was initiated in the 12th century and destroyed during the Comuneros War in 1520. Today, its remains are located in the Plaza de la Reina Victoria Eugenia, near the Alcázar of Segovia. The site is significant for its historical value and architectural heritage. Although the original structure is no longer standing, visitors can explore the area and view the model of the cathedral displayed at the Torreón de Lozoya. The site is accessible year-round, with no admission fees for the plaza area, but may have fees for specific guided tours.
