Collegium Maius, the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, dates back to the early 15th century. It was originally part of the Cracow Academy, founded by King Władysław II Jagiełło. The building features stunning Gothic architecture, including a picturesque courtyard and the famous "Golden Door". Visitors can explore the Museum of the Jagiellonian University, which houses significant historical artifacts, including astronomical instruments used by Nicolaus Copernicus. The museum is open from 10 AM to 4 PM, with admission fees of 10 PLN for adults and 5 PLN for students. The site is accessible to visitors with mobility challenges.
