Kabuki-za, located in Tokyo's Ginza district, is the premier theater for traditional kabuki performances. Opened in 1889, it has a rich history, having been rebuilt several times due to fires and earthquakes. The current structure, completed in 2013, features modern amenities while preserving traditional architecture. Visitors can enjoy daily performances, which are organized by Shochiku Corporation. Tickets are available for individual acts or full plays. The theater also has unique artistic front curtains reflecting the seasons. Kabuki-za is accessible by public transport and offers a cultural experience unlike any other in Japan.
