St. Florian's Gate, a medieval city gate in Kraków, stands as a remarkable remnant of the city's fortifications dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries. It features a stunning baroque crown added in 1660 and houses two significant reliefs: one of the Polish Eagle and another of St. Florian. The gate marks the beginning of the Royal Route to Wawel Castle. Visitors can explore its historical significance as part of the city’s defensive system, which includes the nearby Barbican. Open year-round, the gate is accessible to all, with no admission fee required.
