Emirgan Korusu is a historic public park on the European shore of the Bosphorus in Istanbul’s Sarıyer district. Originating in the Ottoman era and shaped by successive owners and restorations, the park combines landscaped gardens, groves of mature trees, ponds and panoramic Bosphorus views. It is especially noted for its spring tulip displays and three historic pavilions that exemplify 19th‑century Ottoman garden architecture. Emirgan Park holds cultural significance as a setting for seasonal festivals, botanical interest and communal leisure; it reflects Istanbul’s tradition of waterfront gardens and social gathering places. The site supports biodiversity with varied plantings and provides walking paths, terraces and viewpoints. General visitor amenities are present and accessibility measures have been implemented; practical arrangements such as opening hours and admission conditions are determined locally and may vary.
